Relic Weapons for you? Curiosity

My first 3 days so far for relic:
Day 1: 25k GC Seals for Properties of Bestmen. 1 Seal from Uldah
Day 2: 2 Seals from Gridania
Day 3 (Today): 1 seal from Limsa Lominsa so far, and looking to obtain another from uldah when the hamlet phase switches.

Honestly, It's not all that bad.
I am enjoying it a bit.

I thought it was going to take a lot longer to progress though it, but in stead I am meeting new players and getting to know them and forming parties with people I have met rather than randoms (even though it started out random). We are all taking turns on seal drops rather than /random.

Well.. we don't even know the stats of these weapons to make such a bold statement. However, I do agree its beyond hard... Maybe it will change with 1.23 patch. But I believe were over reacting towards it all when we no nothing of what the stats are etc.. and its the only weapons so far that will continue to upgrade (through quests and such). In the end do we know if its worth it or not?.

Besides a couple friends in Balmung are half way though the Primal seals.. So I really don't know what to think about it yet, because we don't know really much about the weapon itself other than its a Polearm/Axe/etc etc.

Also OP i agree with most of the articles about these relics, it sad they depend on so much random sheer luck but, yoshi also commented on this that he is thinking of way to change this in the 1up interview. These weapons aren't meant to have overnight, their relics unless this game comes out with mythic's or something better then this these are the end all say all weapons. Not everyone is suppose to obtain them.

If this information is correct at stage 1 of these weapons.. then Its totally worth it ( Especially the Gae Bolg o.o)

That won't happen, considering you will be able to upgrade your relic in stages ( per patch 1 would assume) so your Relic weapon within the level cap range will never go obsolete.

Yeah, but I don't plan on having a relic weapon till 2.0 launches, lol. I'll work slowly towards it.

Only because I want the people I am progressing with to have seals too.
I mean if you put it in the hands of /random you might get lucky and get 1/2/3 seals in one night.

But we all decided to do 1 seal per person in rotation so we all are getting something for our time, not just the people who get lucky with /random.

My first day was only about 3-4 hours of play, I turned in the ifrit weapons I dont use for the CG points to buy the 25k item.*

Second day lasted about 8-9 hours.

I am still currently in hamlet as for today, Still only one seal, but everyone has gotten 1 seal and its back to me in the roatation.
