Relic Weapons for you? Curiosity

Arkune, haven't they said that the Relic weapons will, in the future, have quests to upgrade them?

That leads to the conclusion that, whereas they might at patches 'dip' they are likely going to stay very potent.
(that said, i'd love if there were a handful of sidegrades)

well i have seen that, but for now i want to make sure, if i am not completely wrong, they talked about legendary weapons and not talked about relic weapons.

and i have to say, well we know the stats of the finished relic already and its not even 1 full dps more on these, can u remember on ff11 days were the relics really had a big different to all other weapons, not even 1 weapon could matched up with this weapon... lets take an example: bravura (WAR) relic was the best great axe in FF11 not even one +1 weapon could match up with this one, now lets see what is in ff14 the WAR relic (has strange stats) compared to garuda, i dont think it would worth to working my a.. off for not even 1 dps more xD! maybe its because the most relic stats sucks hard and that makes me think so... but i would love to get more informations about this ^^
