This information can range from browsing history to payment information. From there they don't have to do a whole lot of digging. Like it or not, everyone's information is out there and is being sold to the highest bidder. Sadly, there's not much anyone can do about that. Such is life in the digital age.It boggles my mind that people post so much personal information online. Basically everyone from my generation that grew up as the internet was just growing into what it has become today always had it drilled into them to never post identifying information online. People should go back to that.

want to hear something funny, just found this out today. A streamer did one of those sleep streams. Someone in there chat paid 10 bucks for tts an said Alexa tell me my location. Alexa could not tell the difference and you already know how that worked
for a year, would you rather be secretly filmed at random moments and have the footage uploaded to your social media or loose $100 when ever you said a curse word?

Take screenshots. Get times and dates. Submit those.
Your friend should take pride in the fact they have such a large grip on that persons life that they are willing to go to such measures for such a long time. If someone did any of the sort to me at halve the tenacity they are...I'd laugh in their face with how pathetic they are acting.
When you deal with human beings, never count on logic or consistency.
Fluid like water. Smooth like silk. Pepperoni like pizza.

By the sound of things, it has gone well beyond anything SE can really do. If I were the victim, I would still try and file a report with SE, but I would also be going to the local authorities to try and get the ball rolling in an attempt to stop them.
They are not sure how to handle this with the authorities. My friend is in the US while this other person, they are pretty sure, is in the UK.
It is frustrating.
as someone who has just gone through this, and had the individual show up to my front door irl, i am with you. i hope everything gets resolved, it is truly terrifying.

I had an ex show up on my couch, but never a random off the internet; let alone a video game. That must have been terrifying. Hopefully you got that taken care of and ita a long distant nightmare.
But as for you, Dingledorf, I do hope your friend is okay. No one should have to go through that. <3
