Steps:
1. Traveled from home data center (Seraph) to Excalibur for faster PVP queues so I can max out my seasonal malmstones rewards during my day off.
2. Multitasked and also purchased a name change for my character.
3. Disconnected due to spotty internet connection and am now caught in a softlock where I have to change my character's name to sign in, but I cannot do so without first returning to my home data center but I cannot do that because the game recognizes me as having disconnected during an instanced duty.
4. I am hoping for administration to manually remove my character from the duty so I am able to log back into it.
