Suggestion: Capped Tomestone Conversion Rewards

They've technically have done Currency Conversions since long ago..,
usually at the end of an Expansion. to Poetics.

they already have the mathematics to convert to poetics they can easily do it for the midterm tomes easily.

as for the reasons Iscah put..,
yes what they spend them on is a reason why.

You've stated sources, not reasons why people want more or their own needs.
<putting it lightly it's kinda using something not exact to disprove something>

it's to give use to something for those that want it.

if one doesn't want them, they won't convert them. if one doesn't want Causality they'll convert.

There is no negative to the addition.
for something that has already existed in the direction it always has<heading downward. if it was heading upward, which is another topic. I'd agree it'd be very debatable->unlikely>
But like uncapped weeklies or Gearing asks. there is no reason to not have it.

the simplification of the topic, that is largely subjective to each players needs, is not very reasonable.

this is largely a QoL. that SE has done in the past, but not to the Mid Tier tomes.<but like said, usually from High end tomes->Poetics>

Ps. Reminds me, I don't know they exact maths of how they determine to give a certain amount of poetics, for a certain type of tombstone. Though I am curious whether the difference between a mid tier and a high tier tome pays different poetics. if you're worried about balance. if a midtier tome pays out less poetics then that would solve that potential point. but again I'm not sure if there is much a difference in High end tome -> poetic conversion we see at the end of a tier/Expac

It's not going to motivate anyone who isn't already continuing to do the content after capping. Either the player has a need for more Astronomy and is already continuing to do the content regardless, or they don't so there's no reason to keep doing it.

At most, it benefits crafters focused on crafted end game gear by making it a little easier to get the tomestone materials and few of those crafters would be interested in discounting the prices they charge for that gear.

Except that conversion requires visiting a specific vendor to have the recorded obsolete currency converted to Poetics.

It wouldn't work with current expansion tomestones where the game would have to convert on the fly.
