Do you think maybe reworking the zone into a duty would help any? Something like a 4 man minimum, 8 max? That way it would be easier to level sync everyone, though I don't know if they could have multiple teams in the area at the same time.

I don't know, I don't have a best solution really because SE designed themselves into this mess. I do like your idea, but part of that problem is it takes people away from the large group play that Eureka especially excels at.
The easiest I think would just be for them to at least reduce the exp gap, but then I know I can just go round up a million of something at that level and they'd get a massive amount of exp. At least with a type of Level Sync I'd be at some risk too and I'd have to manage my Element properly. We really just need a Global Party Sync system that doesn't rely on FATEs or Duties. Where no matter the zone, I can join a friend's party at a specific level anywhere and they can sync us all down. WoW has the right idea there.
Hypothetically, and this is a weird solution - But they could add a lot more synced FATEs for the NM Prep as they currently are, then the NMs could be Critical Engagements off of those FATEs. But that also kinda takes away from prep being pretty dynamic and not always in the same specific spot. That would also reduce the threat of roaming mobs, which I think is part of the fun. lol

Maybe they could make it more like Bozja with a flat level for everyone and the elemental levels are the "mettle". Toss in a few regularly spawning FATEs to keep things interesting and they wouldn't have to change anything else about the system.I don't know, I don't have a best solution really because SE designed themselves into this mess. Bozja's ranks and mettles are not synonymous to Eureka's elemental level. In Eureka, level difference is one of the factor that determines the amount you deal and take damage. Flat level everyone, then you'll neutralize every older eurekan player's 'efforts' they put into the content to this point, because now they will have to work harder again to spawn the lower end NMs whereas currently any of them can single handedly prep one even without elemental bonus gears.
The illusory superiority in this thread is both impressive and cringeworthy.
I believe they confirmed they couldn't do this given how they designed/coded it during the PLLs that were previewing 4.0 Eureka (which is insane cuz Eureka is apparently a XI send up and XI had level sync for more years than it didn't so it was utterly bizarre). The only thing YoshiP offered in response was that they'd keep it in mind for any future Eureka-esque content in future expansions (see Bozja). Something to bear in mind, when YoshiP says its impossible its usually in the context of "impossible to address AND keep to our schedule" so it's possible that it's usually something that takes a long time. While heavily depending on what the ask in question is of course.
Hell we JUST got a resolution to an ask from ARR patch cycle that asked if they could change undeyable gear into a dyeable state and the response was no due to how the item data is handled and up until the recent Tactics Ogre Screenshot contest they could only get around that by making a brand new item entry that bore the same model. So yea, while I would also welcome a level sync feature for Eureka I wouldn't expect it anytime soon if at all sadly.

I want to bump this back up - I think this is great content that just doesn't get the time of day because of the coop difficulty. It's tough getting newer players engaged with the Eureka community.
These are things we just need to be more accessible especially during content lulls.

The funny thing is that eureka has one of the largest player driven communities in the game.
On JP/Materia they have Content Achievers Discord, and they run constant eureka events. It was what kept Materia DC alive for me during the 9 months of pure copium that Materia would actually grow.
I have nothing but respect for Arkhon and the others that keep that discord running, they all deserve much more respect than what they get.
It's a shame SQE doesn't feel the same and help alleviate some of the major issues within eureka (Player grouping and botfarms).

yeah, Nia Saeli from Content Achievers helped me get my first BA clear. They still run BA on Saturdays in Elemental. I respect that group a lot.The funny thing is that eureka has one of the largest player driven communities in the game.
