Official stance on Steam deck

What is the official stance on using the Steam Deck? I would love to use it for before bed crafting, but don't want to risk my account. Until recently, FFXIV was listed as unsupported but now is described as playable.

your account is not at risk. the issue was the launcher didnt run on steamdeck. But that is supposed to be fixed. the only problem you might have is SE tech support wont help you to get it working

You're not gonna get banned for it if. Just don't expect it to run stable or to get help from support since linux is not officially supported by the game.

I'm fairly certain the GM's on the forums have made official statements about it. You're free to play the game on whatever OS you want, but any OS that has no official support will mean you can't receive help from any support channels and they will simply recommend you to install the game on a windows OS.
