[...]It's really just a regional thing, NA players don't seem to care about other players gameplay, and are incredibly selfish about their own time. Big difference from JP.

If you happened to be paired with people who wants a timer or heads up before pulling, then they will not do anything until the designated MT pulls.
If you happened to be paired with people who want to go faster, then early pull is pretty much expected.

In the end, majority wins. Just gotta read the room better.
