Just tried again at 12 EST. Two different browsers and two different credit cards. No combination works.

I received an automated email just now suggesting I pay with Crysta or Game cards. I was able to add Crysta via Amazon using the same card which SE is rejecting and I have been using elsewhere without a problem. They also suggested waiting 48 hours between attempts which I will be doing starting now. Also, here are some other references of people with the exact same issue that started somewhere late in December.

Yeah, I also received that same "Copy/paste - user error" response as well![]()
Just tried to renew again and now getting a different error code. Now I'm getting:
"ERROR (-24202)
---"
No other information is provided. I googled the error and it says:
"The (-24202) error is a technical error that occurs because temporary files, extensions or add-ons that browsers use interferes with the actions taken by the web site. Please change web browsers or delete cookies on your default browser."
I attempted it twice on safari and I checked and I have 0 extensions installed. So, it's not the 601 error, but still unable to add my card back. And I haven't tried since the last time I posted, so it couldn't be the "wait 2 full days before trying" issue.
I hope it gets fixed for you soon, jhollaz. There was an update last week for the Mogstation saying they fixed the various 401 and 601 errors but when I tried it after the suggested 48 hours it still didn't work. There's also another Mogstation downtime to fix some things either today or tomorrow. I just tried a minute ago using Edge in private browsing and it finally took my card information.
Thanks Voths, me too! I'm gonna wait another day or two just in case and then try again. I'm glad it finally worked for you!
Same issue happened with me around that time. I'm sad this happened to us, I wonder why? If the issue is happening to more than one person around the same time then it's their delightful totally not outdated system.
I contacted my bank and they said I had sufficient funds etc...
I tried again and it didn't work (received the browser extension error code). I tried multiple browsers. Heck...when I look at Safari extensions, it literally states "No extensions" in the dialog box.
I also submitted another support ticket, and after a day received a response saying that I didn't provide enough information and they closed my ticket. I gave them the error code, so I'm not sure why that wasn't enough info. Frustrating to have the ticket auto closed.
