Proposal regarding Housing between FC's & Personal

Dear Developers of FFXIV, The proposal I would like to share with you; If After aquisition of a house. Could we add an optional conversion feature to housing? Prompting the players with a question of: "Would you like to convert this Personal house into a Free company house?" As this was the way it was before the introduction to the Lottery update.

Reason: I have placed a lottery ticket on a personal mansion but it was intended to be placed for a free company. This was my initial mistake. I read through the prompt but did not think to read the term personal buyer until after I placed the ticket. If I do obtain the house I wouldn't be able to keep it, if I couldn't convert it. Prior to this I didn't read the new warding placements in the patch. I more so glanced over it due to so many other additions that came or still pending between this patch and the next.

I don't want my proposal to be a reason to give others a way to find loops through the system if its to become a problem.

I may have come up with a slight way to prevent immediate abuse. But if one were to obtain a house and convert a personal into a Free company home. Their should be a lengthy wait time of 15-30 days or more before being able to relinquish land, to deter those who want to resell for profit. The abuse would still be there, just controlled.

Upon purchasing a house in the "first come first serve" method there was an option to choose between which housing type you wanted. Being FC and or Personal that in itself was a form of conversion.
My reading comprehension is fine. Honest mistake really.

Resale isn't accomplished through relinquishing the plot anymore thanks to the lottery. It's accomplished by passing FC Master to the prospective buyer.

Your proposal would make it easy for players to sell what's currently a personal house to other players by converting it to a FC house.

I'm sorry that you made the mistake when placing your bid. Hopefully in this case you do not win and someone else in your FC bidding on the same plot as a FC entry does.

Oh good grief, that is not a conversion. When it's time to check the bids on the mixed world, you'll get that choice. If you bid in a personal ward, hoping for an FC house, well that's on you son.
