I honestly cannot fathom acting like MCH has massive issues, it's a very solid job.
Give me more Keeper of the Moon rep!
MCH doesn't need a rebalance and is not the only job without mobility. The problem isn't mobility on its own, but escape options. BRD for instance has one backstep that binds, and a silence, so technically one mobility option while MCH has none, but MCH has a lot more CC options to get out. MCH unlike BRD can also dish out massive bursts of damage on their attackers, although it's not always available or the case ofc (especially if you're out of resources). You can come with that comparison with a lot of other jobs, and see how they all have pros and weaknesses. MCH is a sniper, pure and simple.
Now I can't talk too much about FLs, they're a gigantic mess and I don't play them a lot. If your message was done in the context of FLs, I fail to see the point since MCH is designed (like all jobs) for CC, and it works fine there. If you have trouble with some melees in CC, that's because some of them hard counter your job. Like you soft or hard counter other jobs. This is a team game, and the problem may be less the job and more the people that don't try to assist you in dealing with adversaries jumping on your throat.
A. Chainsaw needs to be changed though, this is the dumbest design idea I've ever had the displeasure dealing with.

Oh, that one's easy - people tend to think they're better at games than they actually are. Every class tends to have one or two things that they should be doing, above fundamentals, that require a little bit of thought. For SCH, this is typically knowing when you can or can't move in to use Mummification, and being able to determine whether you should use that Deployment Tactics charge on bio or adlo. For MCH, it's going to be mostly around when and where to use Scattergun and when you can move in to get a Bioblaster off.
But a lot of people would rather just balance whine than accept that sometimes you actually need to think about what you're doing.
I am very surprised by everything you wrote. MCH is an excellent mobile class with excellent damage and exceptional LB. It's perfectly balanced and can kill any opponent in solo. A little tip: kite and use the turret when the enemy is in close range. This job is all about tactics and timings. Once you understand this, you will forget about your "problems" with MNKs and see how quickly they run away from you in a panic. Good luck!Once again, seriously.
We have no mobility options. And 'you shouldn't close to melee' isn't a valid comment; before you can shoot a MNK, his 20y dash and two steps forward conquer my basic attack because of its charge time to cast. Why the heck would MCH be the only ranged DPS without a movement skill? Why give one to healers? Add a 15y retreat to the shotgun or something.
Good luck killing a melee one on one as a MCH... Unless they're out of resources and you're not I guess.
Or if they don't know what they're doing.
MNK, DRK and SAM today a couple of hours ago. Two were finished off literally in the back in the process of escaping. Kite and control exist for this, so that they run out of resources. The first two even without LB. And yes, there is nothing stopping you from making them leak their resource before they are alone with you.
The MCH is an easy target only if they are taken by surprise by the crowd, in all other cases this class can do quite well. Just in case, look at Mr. Happy's guide and everything will become clear to you.
I will not argue that everything is situational and depends on the circumstances, but people are fundamentally mistaken when they say that the MCH is easily crushed. This is not true. It’s just that if you don’t run like a chicken, but understand and know arena and your arsenal, MNKs don’t become a reason for panic for you, but an excellent workout, and they are easily knocked out, that’s all. The more experienced the opponent, the better. The higher your skill will be, instead of asking for a rework.

Who fucking cares? It's not a game designed for 1v1. If you're approaching it from a 1v1 standpoint, no fucking wonder you suck at it.
