We have no mobility options. And 'you shouldn't close to melee' isn't a valid comment; before you can shoot a MNK, his 20y dash and two steps forward conquer my basic attack because of its charge time to cast. Why the heck would MCH be the only ranged DPS without a movement skill? Why give one to healers? Add a 15y retreat to the shotgun or something.
Yes, I know, a lot of healers say that if they can't dash forward they can't use their neat combat skills effectively. I say, hey, if that's true, why do I have to get close to use a bioblaster to unlock my other moves. Again, mobility. I have to leave the 'safety' of ranged to get close to someone, fire it off, and then try to retreat...
On top of giving exactly one AoE, which sure, we smack from a distance for single target snipes.. then why give us an AoE at all? Give more range, only single target moves. Or better yet, make RDPS attacks override the tank's insanely overpowered DR. Turn it into a RPS thing: RDPS > Tank > MDPS > Healers > Melee > RDPS
IBF 'play it right lol'. I do. I get kills, hold my own. MCH is generally low tier, particularly after the nerfs and the DR inclusions.
