What if Support Role was Added to FFXIV?

Would it make sense to add a fourth role to the Trinity of Tank, Healer and DPS to help create a better balance between all the job classes?

BRD was much closer to support 2.0 launch. Remember the days when BRD LB was a heal? BRD gave mana and tp back to the party too. I am not so sure the game is better now that all of that is gone but it is what it is.
