Gosh Darn it Left Buttton

I have returned to the game for a long time and my controller has issues. When I try to mount by pressing L2 and left button, my character would move also thus cancelling the mount. I have problem with this and I'm at my wits end trying to find the fix in the internet. Well, I could move the mount button to another part but probably other buttons that's the directional button will have problem as well. It would be very appreciated for a solution. I would like to enjoy playing without any worries.

Controller Drift attacks another player :c Try getting another controller first. I bet it's drift.

find a store that can clean the controller, or try cleaning it yourself.
if it is drift, you might have to replace some parts. Though a cleaning is usually enough
