Remove mandatory tattoos from glamor items

There are already a few examples of this in game and after seeing this set from an upcoming Tataru quest, I feel the need to reiterate this. I cannot stand tattoos, but do not want to take the option away from others, but seeing the arm and chest tattoo instantly makes the set not an option for me.

I think it's just an inescapable part of how gear pieces are built here. You can't add it as an extra option and would have to make a second separate version of the piece to have it without the tattoo. (I'd love an all-round "change one thing about the item" button like the visor button, but for body pieces, though I don't know whether that would be viable to add.)

You could say it's just painted on and you can wash it off later?

I mean I could tell myself that I can "wash it off later" but I still have to see this on my character if I want to use it, which is the main issue. It's more a visual problem than an RP one. It's just such a letdown personally when they make a really good looking piece of glam, but then add one thing to it that makes it unusable. Tattoos literally make my skin crawl.

It's my biggest gripe on the outfit. The way the tattoos stretch when you do any poses is not natural looking. I have nothing against tattoos, have a few myself but a two set top with and without a tattoo would have probably been the best way to go in my opinion.

Agree. Hate the tattooes. I understand that some people like them, but atleast give option to have them removed. (Like the thavnarian turban with the veil.)
I love the tank top in game but never use it bc of the tattoo.

They should just add the tattoos to the character editor. Then everyone can combine tattoos and gear after their liking. But I guess I know the answer why they can't do that and go the way with the gear instead >.>

Taking the tattoos from the armor sets and adding them into base character models would be really nice... I think there is a slight sliver of hope with the 7.0 graphical updates, but I don't expect them to do anything sensible when it comes to character customization.

Honestly...I agree.
I do wish some armor pieces that give tattoos were toggle-able.
It often looks awful on my Hrothgar Alt. Wish I could turn it off.

i agree, i really like the skyworker singlet because its the only tanktop i know of in the game yet it has that annoying tattoo that runs down your arm
