That doesn't detract from their statement. If anything, it's worse because the FOMO isn't even worth it. So then there's 0 reason to PvP. They didn't say it was good promotion.

PvP at it's core is broken until they fix the 500ms / low tick rate / inconsistent ability registration, no amount of additional features and game modes will fix how bad it feels. Unless they slow it so far down that it turns into a pseudo-FFTactics PvP.

IMO they could extend the series a few levels and give a few extra rewards since how it is now its only a few days of grinding when its supposed to last 4 months

At the same time...that is up to the player themselves to determine if they want to grind it out right away, or if they want to take their time getting it. I honestly haven't done much on the way to get the mount of this series, until now at least. I'm just about to hit 20 in the series, and I really only "grind"(do 3-4 matches a day) when it's Seal Rock because I'm trying for the last 2 pieces of gear from it. Otherwise, it's just 1 time for the roulette bonus...and not even that frequently.
