Maduin server dead?. Cant progress MSQ

ive come to a point in ARR that requires me to que for ten man content to progress the MSQ. I cant find groups through duty finder and if i do it takes at least an hour in que to find one.

why is thing a thing?. Who thought that forcing people into ques for old content in order to progress their MSQ was a good idea?. this is hands down one of the dumbest things i have ever seen in a mmo.

There is no ten man content.
Four, Eight, Twenty-four, and in some cases 72 but you'd know what you're getting into for those.
Have you tried Party Finder? It can help a lot in some cases when Duty Finder queues aren't popping.

yes my bad its the 8 man, i tried party finder one time but i got no hits. everything in the PF was housing hangouts.

Based on your description, I'm guessing that you need Garuda/Titan/Ifrit Hard since they aren't part of the MSQ but are required to progress it.

Have you tried asking in Novice Network? It's usually easy to find one person willing to run you through unsynced if it's a lower level trial, and sometimes you'll find enough interested in helping for the first time bonus that you can do it synced. I've got characters on Marilith and I can try hopping over to Maduin next time I'm online to see if you're online so I can help out if you're still looking. I'm guessing that you probably play around the time you made your post.

Also I recommend having all four languages selected in your Duty Finder settings (small cogwheel at the top of the Duty Finder interface).

Not likely to be much help on a NA world. Very few players don't have EN selected.

I think Canadane meant to make your own PF for the fight. Do you have a free company? If so you could try asking there. You could also do some data center travel. Depending on which trial it is as that's what most 8man content is you could run it unsynced with one other person. Especially if that person is many levels over the level of the trial.

I'm sorry, what 8-man duty is supposedly difficult to get into that gates your MSQ progression? Can you tell us the name(s)?

This is what I meant, yes. Make your own and you can either wait for it to fill with willing participants or you can ask someone who's level 90 to just smash the fight for you.

I assume it's The Chrysalis, it's something people wait a while on.

so on Madiun you are on the Dynamis DC, its a brand new DC, not enough players yet to really have an active que going, and even on older data centers, ques for older content can be long. I recommend either making a PF like suggested, or DC travelling to Aether. The ques seem to be the shortest here when I've pulled my Dynamis alt to do content. Not just saying that cause my main is on Aether either.
