For ten-chi-jin you should go 2-1-3 so you can get Katon and Suiton/Meisei to use HFM/Bunshin during AoE, you should have Doton down already so you don't lose dps from HN when you cast Katon in ten-chi-jin .that seems far more complicated than the standard setup...
1-2 = raiton
2-1 = katon
1-2-3 = suiton
3-2-1 = huuton
3-1-2 = doton
the reason why this standard setup is much more simple to use is the lvl 70 cooldown, ten-chi-jin, you'll just press 1-2-3 in order for the single target rotation. the aoe is a little less obvious (3-1-2) but it still follows the same order as the doton above

This is the way. To take it a step further, the 1-2-3 mudras are the 1, 2, and 3 thumb keys on my mouse; the muscle memory is even easier.that seems far more complicated than the standard setup...

This isn't meant as a criticism of anyone in this thread, but threads like this make me nervous. I really like the mudra system; it's a simple way to get the feel within the construct of this style of MMO. It seems intimidating (it did to me before I started playing NIN), but it's ultimately not any more complicated than any other class system in the game. I don't want these sorts of threads to convince SQEnix that there's a problem that needs to be fixed.
