Or say you absolutely suck at the mode to the point you practically can count the times you won on barely two hands, you get paired with others who struggle, and you play matches with some form of handicap until you either find your groove or just don't bother until the next Series, where the win/loss resets?

Sure that doesn't sound fun, but at this rate, I'd rather have SOMETHING to that effect than let things continue as they have, because PvP is a struggle and there doesn't seem to be a good way to improve than just surrendering to the failure and just play through PvP without a care, using cheats or just washing your hands of the mode entirely.

Also let us buy the rewards we miss with Trophy Crystals please.
I very much doubt that would do anything positive, already have doubts the current system even cares how much your work your backside off while in a match; if you get thrown against teams of people who can near one-shot you the instant you're spotted behind a wall, constantly, even with defences and line of sight on your side, then it isn't going to help you progress at all, and kill any motivation to put up with it.

Why do I cite that? Because for every person who has claimed it is easy to climb ranked, there's many, many more who have had experiences like this where nothing they could've done even mattered, the balance simply didn't exist.

When server tick, animation queues/locks and class imbalances and zero downtime between crowd control effects all work against randomly assigned teams, enough matches of that variety will plummet one's credibility to such a system, and so will the player's morale.

Really, the only truly frustrating thing about PvP right now is how little control over one's fate people seem to have and the punishment the system inflicts on you with long respawns. You either get no issues, or a ton of issues, there's very little middle ground between the two. Even learning the map, your rotations and synergies with other classes rarely feels satisfying in the current state, as it is equally at the mercy of the system's processing of events as much as anything else. There is potential, but yes, calling it a struggle is absolutely on point.

Absolutely support expanding the use of Crystal Trophies though, like Wolf Marks they just kind of exist after a certain point. :X
