I dont expect them to admit it is a joke, but have they at least said anything along the lines of pvp 'not being where they want it to be' or 'not living up to expectations'?
Or are they TRULY and COMPLETELY unaware of how bad it is?

PvP community has had nearly zero communication for years
PvP is side content. Side content typically doesn't get much mention on PLLs or interviews unless there's a significant update to it incoming. Hence, we know about the new map we'll be getting, but that's pretty much it.
Crystalline Conflict is fine. Ranked is basically pointless and meaningless, but most people have moved to Casual anyway, so it's whatever. Frontlines is "side content of the side content" and Rival Wings they just become selectively deaf when asked about.
It's easier for the devs to never directly respond to the pvp community because of how hostile ingroup/outgroup mechanics can become online. They hardly directly reply to non-pvp issues directly because it's more diplomatic to remain silent in most situations.
I choose to hold out hope that they have people on the team whose job is to read stuff here every now and then and get a general vibe check at least. I doubt they would report to the devs "yeah, community is saying 'stuff sucks, yo'."
I suspect more direct and more provable posts stand a better chance of getting attention.

What would they communicate about? That the new pvp is an outstanding success in casual mode (it insta pops at almost all hours)? That rank has issues? So ranked would be the joke here I assume? or FLs maybe?
