The solution is simple... play a different game that cater to your personal needs instead of trying to change a game that does not.

This game has gone through many iterations throughout the years. Should people who didn't like the accuracy or piercing resistance down mechanics have not voiced their opinions and just gone and "played a different game"? What about old astro cards or brd and mch being casters? Telling people to not voice their opinions on a game, a game with a public forum that is designed just for that btw, is so asinine.
Games change and cater to different people. It is what it is. I used to love swtor. Guess what I don't play anymore? Its impossible to cater to everyone and trying to do so is simply an impossible task that would lead to making everyone angry. People come and go and that's just the nature of MMO's. If the current design was so detrimental to the game it wouldn't be having record breaking player counts and content clears. This game has gone through many iterations throughout the years. So much record breaking..
The core gameplay loop isn't widely player retentive, we peaked because people were mad at WoW, not because they loved XIV so much. Then we spiked for MSQ. People like MSQ? Hurray I guess. May as well be a visual novel, wouldn't make a difference at this point.
But I mean congratulations, we're as retentive as Farming Simulator 22. lol
Woah guys, look at all these records we're breaking. Woaaah.

Great, multiply by 3 MAYBE? Most games on Steam are cross-platform too. Do you actually believe we compete with those numbers outside of Steam? Do you ever do a Player Search and see thousands of players on each server? Because I do, and there's maybe 600 players on Dynamis total.

The idea is to increase the number of playstyles that the game CAN create by removing the two largest creativity roadblocks that the game has. By having the freedom to create a larger range of playstyles you can then cater to all kinds of players. You can have chaotic playstyles with all kinds of random elements in them AND you can have more methodical playstyles where you're mapping things out well in advance. You can have playstyles akin to what we have now as well. I'm sorry but I don't see how having more playstyles for people to choose from is a bad thing and the biggest thing in the way of more creative design is the design corner that the developers have backed themselves into.Games change and cater to different people. These type of people need to Stop Gatekeeping discussions. We know the game changes, your character and profile say you started in 2016, so you should know this well enough. Stop Gatekeeping, let people talk things out like human beings. If these discussions pain you so much, then you have the option of not reading them. Yoshi-P will not give you a high-five for thwarting discussion.
Carry on..
