Don't feed Firemage, he's like a mogwai. Except it's always after midnight. Though his look makes me think more of being closer to the fire gang from Labyrinth.

I'm sorry, I know this is going to summon him, but...
Yeah, having a mental disability isn't an excuse for behaviour.
But sometimes people in these forums do suck at how they approach people. The forums just often bulldoze their way through communication. And if for a neurotypical person that's already a bit of a blow, imagine for those who aren't :T
Yep. I'm definitely guilty of doing that, but I have self-awareness enough to know some days I was just an arse. I do bring into question how many people would do that
Otherwise I agree, don't hide behind neurodivergence for something that's consistently negative. Because a lot of people do their best to get around it. I've been personally on the receiving end of someone using a disability they have which I shared as an excuse for poor performance and shaming others for wanting effort out of them, whereas I was on the backseat trying my best to brainstorm ways to get around it...
Like, girl, I have the same thing you have, and our friends are helping us overcome it. Why are you nagging at them and calling all of us crap for not respecting your nagging?
though <,<;; OP ngl you did kinda sound a bit too dramatic.
I wouldn't actually think you were being serious reading that. This seriously affected me, and made me feel upset. How could you all be so cruel, and thoughtless. Did it ever occur to you that your negativity might be hurtful? :/ I am hugely embarrassed, frustrated, in tears, and just honestly all around not happy. You didn't have to agree with me, but you also didn't have to be so insulting.

I agree with the way people communicate here. Bulldozing through conversation doesn't really work.I'm sorry, I know this is going to summon him, but...

I don't agree with this whole thing about me using my mental disability to excuse behavior. All I did was make a suggestion, and try to explain a personal reason on why I think flying could be useful for some players, then I stood firm when people started to act mean toward me, including filing reports. Though in order not to dox, I'm just leaving it at that, not naming names.
Basically just got treated like crap for just trying to make a suggestion that wouldn't even hurt anything, or take anything away, but people got triggered over it for some reason I don't understand, and even more upset when I didn't just accept being mistreated. Treat people how you want to be treated. Most people would probably have deleted a thread by now, but I'm not like that. I have resilience, and the will to stand firm when people are being cruel. I'm not whining here, I'm telling people to stop, and making it clear that my boundaries have been crossed.
Constructive criticism on my suggestion would be one thing, and I wouldn't get upset if someone contributed that, but complete and total backlash on a topic that shouldn't even be a controversial issue is ridiculous, but I will not stoop low to insulting anyone, or throwing any of the pointless backlash back. I'm telling y'all to stop. We should be getting to the topic of the suggestion that was made, which is adding flying to Eureka Orthos, or some kind of teleporter. Anything that would make it possible for people to get there as quick as the previous Deep Dungeons.
This topic was not supposed to be a thread about bashing me. I did not ask for that, and I will not stand idly by and just act like that it is okay. I really wish more people that get thrashed on here would stand up for themselves firmly, and calmly, because then maybe people would get a clue and stop. I don't think its crossing the rules of the forums to politely, and assertively just say you are not comfortable, and that you would like something to not engage further when a personal boundary has been crossed.
Internet forums may be forums where we can all participate, but people should still have etiquette, and the realization that behind each username is a person with feelings, and that since we can only have one account per account here, that its usually heavily tied to our characters, and not hard to harass people. The forum bullying goes deeper than people often realize. Please have consideration for other people, and remember to be kind. I know its not always easy to, but trying counts for something. Even just apologizing can do wonders. Have faith in your fellow players. We do not have to resort to such pointless bitterness.

Most people are saying you're using it as an excuse because, despite getting people to give you advice on how you can handle it if they don't allow flying there, you've acknowledged none of it, which makes it feel like you only want to complain and use your disability as a crutch. I've mentioned a way to mitigate the issue, as have others, as they're likely not going to remove the no-flight zone in there. Acknowledging that something may/may not work for you or trying to find a compromise will look better on your part, because you're acknowledging that people are trying to help and not just looking like you want something to complain about.I agree with the way people communicate here. Bulldozing through conversation doesn't really work.

No shade, sorry you have something that makes it difficult to traverse the maps, but some are trying to help if you can't just fly there.
Oh my word just stop. No one said anything particularly awful to you before your meltdown. The "meanest" thing someone said was "touch grass". Your original post didn't say ANYTHING about a disability, you said some vague statement about 'mental energy' which could mean all sorts of stuff. No one started "bashing" you *until you had a full blown meltdown temper tantrum* because people weren't agreeing with you. If someone saying "touch grass" to you is enough to set you off, then you really ought to seek aids on how to deal with uncomfortable social situations, not worrying about something miniscule in an online video game. You are literally acting like a victim of some horrible crime, just stop, this is ridiculous at this point. If you can't handle people not agreeing with you on an online forum, this might not be the best place for you. I don't mean that as a "get out of here you're not wanted" way, but like, I'm actually worried about your ability to socialize in a setting like this.
