Problem with the new deep dungeon (Eureka Orthos)

You'd almost have a point if not for putting the fact that its there by crystal tower to prevent mor dhona from being more congested than usual.

Is that little area actually instanced? There are other places where we need to get passed a closed gate without being a separate area.
