Doesn't seem like it's a separate zone..,
though if one wanted to guess and create its own excuse. it's there to prevent lvl 50 flyers without the quest for CT progressed to enter the area.., or lore wise.., Get Reduced to Aether without the requisite crystal back and forth taken by a mischievous red cat. oh wait that last part doesn't exist like it used to anymore.

while yes you can say it's a mild inconvenience that doesn't have much use for players later on. There isn't much need to change it.
But I'm sure they will have to one day.
as they will also open up areas of Eorzean Seabeds/bodies of water. they're bound to populate the barren lands above the normally viewable no flight lands.[like the shelf of rock In vesper bay. I always wanted that area to be populated with high level mobs or some new buildings after the flight updated to ARR.

nonetheless. we won't know how it is til 6.3
and even if nothing changes in that regard, it won't be the end of Eitherys as we used to know it.

Edit: Though surely we've seen at some point that area ve flooded with players. in the past and present with some streamers/content creators new to the game try it for the first time. so zones do have some Ability to hand players. but I cannot say for certain since I ain't no expert on the objective stuff. how it'd affect things if it was openly flyable to the normal map.

As someone with a mental disability, this really sucks. Telling me to touch grass, or just laughing at me because I asked for one quality of life improvement. You can fly to the deep dungeon directly for Palace of the Dead, and you can get to Heaven on High much quicker, but instead of just thinking about my suggestion, you all had to insult me. I'm reporting most of these comments, and honestly going to have to take a long shower, and try not to feel depressed.

This seriously affected me, and made me feel upset. How could you all be so cruel, and thoughtless. Did it ever occur to you that your negativity might be hurtful? :/ I am hugely embarrassed, frustrated, in tears, and just honestly all around not happy. You didn't have to agree with me, but you also didn't have to be so insulting.

I am furious. This feels like highschool bullshit, where you speak out and say something slightly wrong, so people just bully and laugh at your comment to its death. Just stop please. All I did was analyze the live letter, and make a point that you can't just get there quickly. YOSHI P LITERALLY DEMONSTRATED. It's literally on the far end outside of the map. I know this is a community that loves quality of life improvements, but instead you had to be rude, and make fun of my mental capabilities, and character, as if you haven't felt exhausted before while playing a video game when traveling a longer distance.
