btw can we agree how awesome it seems that they brought back Agrias's VA from the Orbonne raid to voice I assume Halone? At least Im pretty sure its the same voice.

Also cant help but think Lenneth Valkyrie from Valkyrie Profile with how they designed her and her move set.

Yeah I don't have my hopes up that the swim bottoms won't be gender restricted. I know they said they're not, but I'll bet a million gil the icon shows the male version while projecting different on females. Like how most swim wear seem to be ever since we moved from that first set.

Just because both genders can wear them doesn't mean what they show once equipped can't be different. I mean we are dealing with swim wear. A clothing style that has a long history of looking one way via their icons only to behave the same way the hempen pantallettes tend to be. Or the Neo Ishgardian set.

Guys can literally wear the booty shorts from the original island sets and gals can wear the longer shorts from the original island sets, though. If they're staying with that because it makes their players happy, then gals will be able to wear the board shorts and guys can wear the bikini bottoms. It was said in the live letter itself last night, straight from the XIV discord translation irt the treasure map glam: Y "Just like the glam we showed earlier, these are not gender locked"

Prior to that, they showed the PvP Season 3 rewards (which looks the same on anyone equipping them anyway) and before that was the likely-island sets. I have no reason to believe, especially when they said the prior island sets were not gender locked, that these will be one set but changed for everyone. If I'm wrong, then I'm wrong, but everything points to "it's not genderlocked, wear your long shorts if you want" right now.

The complaint is even more valid because we have Reaper now and most of heavy looking sets just do not work well with that class...
