I think Final Fantasy XIV should be ported over to Linux sometime after 2.0. Why? There are very few games made to work with it without the need of another program to emulate it. It would open up the opportunity to get more players in the game!

Do you guys think there is a chance of Square Enix doing this?

yes, lets get all 10 linux gamers to play this game! that will be worth the dev time!
