6.3 site is up and I guess I'm going to be forced to do the MSQ as RPR Spoilers.

So, the 6.3 site is up and it feels as though the devs won't be learning a lesson from 6.1 and 6.2 where they snuck in Reaper nods if not some Reaper lore that you only got to see if you were doing it as one. Which yes I know this is a me problem. Sort of.

As any other time before 6.1 if you had completed a job's questline or at least had it unlocked you still would be treated to any and all nods to you having done the quests or that you're a practitioner of said art. Now they could surprise everyone and not do that this time. And yet according to the site we're going to the Garlean training grounds for Reapers.

Which fills me with dread as why wouldn't they put in extra stuff if you're doing the MSQ as one when they're making it fairly obvious that we should be getting a lot more than just a line or two. If they do somehow end up going back to how it was before the last two patches then I'll have worried over nothing which will be fine and make me joyous. The probably going to be creepy Goth marionette doll boss can just harvest me a few weeks early.

You're not forced. Every job now and then has a subtle nod or dialogue change that changes absolutely nothing related to the story besides mentioning something that's relevant to the job you're currently playing. Just like how Krile made you heal instead of gawking at a dying cat.

The whole patch series so far has had slight nods to reapers. If you haven't missed anything until now, I doubt you'll miss anything coming up.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. I'm fairly sure the unending journey can spot you.

The difference between now and then is most of the time you could be on another job and still get the nod. Be a Paladin but have the lv 50 DRG quest done? Guess what Estinien still gives you a "Hey fellow Azure Daragoon. Don't worry I'm not going to get possessed this time" Also the aren't you a healer was most likely a response to healers complaining that they didn't get any kind of nod in situations where it'd be appropriate.

You're missing the point it's not that I don't want said world building. I shouldn't have the feeling of wow they didn't give any extra tidbits about Reaper or how when you meet Zero if you're only a Reaper you get to know that your pact with your avatar isn't forceful and they're super ok with how things are between the two of you. Or that your Avatar is the rare exception. Only to later find out these things by those who praise those scenes because they brought up those factoids. And people left scratching their head as to why they didn't get those even though they had all markers checked besides being on said job.

So you're not mad that they're expanding on reaper lore in msq but you're mad that they are giving context to lore you already know? Or that you didnt know. Please elaborate.
