The Crystalline Conflict rewards :(

Is there a reason why they give out rewards in the way that they do? Why cant they send you the reward in a moogle mail instead of forcing you to talk to an npc within a certain time frame? How can a game that prides itself on not forcing you to play then turn around and gate the rewards you EARNED behind a subscription during a certain time frame?

I made it to crystal rank in CC during series 1 with plenty of time to spare... so much time, that I got bored and moved to another game for a couple of months. When I came back from the break I found out that I was only ONE WEEK too late to claim my rewards. I have been in contact with Account Management support as well as the Game Masters. No one seems to be able to help me, I have been told to make a post on the forums to voice my concerns... so here I am.

WHY IS THERE NO SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM?

There needs to be an overhaul to the way the rewards are handled because when players grind anything else out in this game (tank mounts, MGP, Relics, ETC.) they are guaranteed their rewards. I think it should be the same for PVP. Can anyone else add to the topic?

They do mail you the reward for top 100.
It's just rankings that many thousands more may get that likely have limitations on how fast they could all get mail so it's better to be automated.

Crystal rank is meaningless as it was basically free in the first few Seasons, even the value of Top 100 is plummeting as in current Season there are people that aren't even in Crystal getting it on few Datacenters.

There's very little prestige in PvP left outside of very high finish in S1 when it was actually active (not just being Crystal but having several thousands in Score) or getting something like Top 1 on any Season since that does have some competition even if everything below has died.

The mode is dead and the rewards are the same garbage as during its launch.

I forgot to claim them in time as well. The seasons happen a lot faster than the series so that there are 2 seasons in the time of 1 series.

But it's meaningless and it was too much work even getting to the rank I did because it decays. Every bad team sets me back a lot.
