How I would make FF 14 Better

am I the only one who reads faster than the actors voice their parts in dialogue? This is big case whenever I play ESO, every single dialogue is voice acted yet I quickly read through their wall of text anyway that I just wind up skipping ahead before the VA finishes their sentences.

I kinda dislike how this generation thinks VA makes the experience better in rpgs. It totally does but at the same time in a game, you just sometimes want to move on.

I dont think the problem is that everything isnt voiced, at least it isnt for me. Its just the MSQ I'd prefer was fully voiced.

If they were only doing it in one or two languages, they could probably cover more. VA is very expensive between paying the actors and the studios they record in.

Oh yeah, I understand why its not. I just think it would be nice if the MSQ were fully voiced.

They can gladly take the german voice acting, no idea if the french one is good though.

I primarly play this game in French VA ever since hearing the first couple of English voiced scenes back in ARR. Its very, very good imo

4. MORE VOICE ACTING! It takes me out of the MSQ when I hear my own voice.. There shouldn't be any reason why every CS doesnt have Voice acting.. I dont get it.

The cost is prohibitive, the resources needed are quite large, starting with the actual VA and then all the work after that.

3. Holiday Events are so subpar, Put some effort into these events than just 5 mins quest line... I dont even consider these events.. just a quest line. I seen so much better Holiday events in other MMOS... Come on YoshyP..

Once upon a time (meaning 2.x series) the events were actually around 10 quests long, and story NPCs would show up in the questline. The first Heavensturn was the year of the Horse, and Haurchefant showed up in a horse outfit around the end of it (to point out how silly people were being). I think the Admiral showed up for the original Moonfire Faire, Raubahn and the Sultana for the original Little Ladies Day, Kan-E-Senna to the Easter/Christmas events...etc. I think they lowered the size of them down because a number of casual players felt they took too long (they barely took an hour back then).

We still regularly see the leaders of the city states, but they have been putting them in these optional quests recently where you can choose up to 6 cut scenes to view or letters to read.
