It's not resonable in an MMO. They will ahve the textures they deem fit for resolutions and not add more later to require more file checking each update to verify files.

Im sure the scalign is already in place, but the standard version is being shown.

How would it not be reasonable? This is something that has been done before.

Asking for a texture pack without even seeing what the game looks like running at full spec is insane. At least wait until some videos/screenshots come out where they've cranked the power to 11.

This. A lot of people seem to assume the demonstrations are the highest quality the game can be run at. Just think about that. Why would the devs throw away the better graphics to make the lower quality graphics when they can simply tone down all of the complicated stuff. It's like taking a car with a bunch of upgrades, spoilers, bells and whistles, saying that it's too gaudy and sending it to the dump and buying a new basic car when you can simply take all of that crap off.

I think most understand that what we've seen is fairly low in quality. People just need something to bitch about. That doesnt change the fact though that thetestures are not going to get much better with some things. There had to be a downgrade of some sort to ease the performance onto ps3, that is just common sense. How much we dont know yet though.
