XVI Event

Since Yoshi P is heavily involved, do you think we will get one this time? Maybe a lot closer to the release compared to when we got XV's event a bit late into the games life cycle?

I think it would be cool if they gave us stuff to promote the game before or shortly after the game came out. Idk why but I love cross campaigns when they are involved with multiple video games, and not just "go be the weirdo buying out all the butterfingers first thing at 6am in the morning."

Just think an event collab would be way cooler.

I presume there probably would be one, or at least some kind of reference between each game (as it is, it's been announced that preording the standard edition for FFXVI features as bonus items 'a Cait Sith Charm' and a sword called 'Braveheart', the latter of which the design is actually based on Yoshitaka Amano's artwork of the FFI Warrior of Light's sword and which.. we know of here in FFXIV as the Sword of Light from Seat of Sacrifice EX.

So maybe we'll get some sort of crossover with it in FFXIV, although whether it will be a short term event or something permenant in the game but more low key (like weapon/gear names) is a very good question.

We've had one for XI, XIII, and XV. I'd be surprised if we didn't get a XVI event.

that Yoshida really has been holding this game back. FFXIV has been dead for years, lets rehire Tanaka back, maybe he really was up to something with 1.0 and we just didnt gave it the chance.

If this isn't a joke and you're actually looking for something harder (via your other response) there's a classic FF11 server opening in a few days called Horizon XI. Take a look at that.
