Island Sanctuary "Watering crops" has a bug

1. Wait for rain/showers, no need to water plants
2. Happen to be 6-8 hours later in with again rain/water, no need to water plants
3. The game assumes you didn't water the crops for 3 days.

All right, so this bug I have been testing legitimate ever since Island Sanctuary's release. So for months on and off and not only on one character, but two since I got two characters at max level (as well as on the islands of each respectively). The first time I noticed this was when Island Sanctuary was new; so since then I wondered if I was going crazy or if this was legitimate. Today after many months of paying attention to this very disguised bug, I decided to report this. Because now it has come to a point it's ridiculous.

As the steps says: if you happen to be on your island and it is raining, the system SHOULD assume you watered your plants like you would manually every 6 hours. This works as intended if you come back later and your crops are ready to be watered again.

HOWEVER, would you happen to go in again, and it is raining/showering? Okay, no worries. I am always happy to skip it........ This unfortunately has a massive backlash if you for the third time enter your island and you go a bit later than 6 hours.... let's say you go back in 10 hours later because you went to bed, woke up, go to work or so... instead of logging in to tend island you go in AFTER you went by your day......... you'll come back to dried crops because the game assumes you did not take care of your island for 2-3 days.............



Look at the screenshot and tell me how long I was supposed to have kept my crops dry for it to become white......... while I come EVERY single day to my island 2-3 times... (because I am very addicted to Island Sanctuary! Thank you for implementing the fun island!) sadly, because of my addictive behavior to my island this bug did not go unnoticed to me............. I am so tired of my crops ceasing to grow (especially on Tuesdays) I do reclear, too busy to be on time after reset happens to tend to my crops, yet usually I enter the island when it rains (not intentionally, it's just timing). I know the day before reset I did what I always do EVERY single night before bed: I water my crops, I tend to my animals, I log out, I go to bed. Today, after another 3x of entering during rainy weather (I believe it was twice this time) my crops are completely dried because I didn't enter my island for ~10 hours............. I don't know if this is normal. But it certainly isn't normal .... This is also why I became addicted to the island. I hate seeing dry crops.... I want them black, wet and healthy. Yet every day I fail to meet to the requirement it feels like because I just happen to have it rain so much or I am doing reclears and cannot attend for a day. I want this bug to be very closely tested and made sure this won't be happening again because I worry in the future I am going to get too burnt out by trying so hard my best with failed result of keeping up with my island (I have never, ever skipped a day tending to my island other than 2 weeks I went on a trip) yet the amount of dry crops I stumble upon............. I hope there is explanation I am missing. Sorry if I am like a broken record on repeat or unclear .

I usually just watered my crops when collecting them after the 3 days if it hadn't rained recently. Sometimes I would come back to the land looking dry, but it made no difference because I still had 5 plants to harvest regardless.

Are you basing it on the information from the mammet or simply the appearance of the fields? I think the third stage of soil status switches from wet ground to dry ground visually, but the plants still have water.

I do not know what you mean, when it rains, the land is dark (thus wet) and mammets give accurate information. So that is why, I was surprised, once this happens 3x in a row (when you do not need to water it manually) entering again during period of needing to tend/take crop it is all dry.

When they still have 25% water it can still look completely dry. That's what we mean. If you look at the status it can still have some water.

But it really doesn't matter. I almost never watered them in months of doing this and if the plants can die somehow, then I've never witnessed it happen. It's that difficult to fail to water them for 3 days. The chances of it not raining for 3 days are very low.
