Fatal Direct X Error messed w/ my UI font size

So I got the error, it closed game on me, and when I rebooted, the font size that should be "12", looks more like "9" (Maybe?)... and I have to squint to read... I know you can change that in the game but then it makes everything big... it effected my chat, duty list, and character names... I have never messed with the font size before, so this doesn't feel like the default size anymore and I dunno what do

The only thing I can think of that caused the error was me updating my drivers, because the FF4 pixel remaster had the green lines on it on steam...while having FF14 open.

Edit- unsure if it's because am tired but it just looks...smaller lol

Greetings fellow Eorzean and thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums!

I'm verry sorry to hear that you're experiencing some UI issues after a crash. For us to better assist you, please respond with the following information:

    - Platform (Windows, Steam or Mac)
    - Any error codes or messages you receive upon the initial DirectX Error (if any)
    - Other programs running while the game is playing (if any)

While awaiting your response, I'd also like to suggest checking the in-game resolution settings to see if any were set back to default or if anything may need adjusting once more. You mentioned that you may have been experiencing GPU/video type errors as well, then I would also suggest checking the GPU drivers. It may require a full clean re-install if you are having issues outside of FFXIV as well. We do hope to hear back and hopefully one of the provided suggestions may help resolve the issue you're experiencing.
