    Unable to login on PS5

    Hi,

    I keep getting timeout errors when trying to get in to the game. It started yesterday, continuing today, on opening the game it says:

    "Error: 0x0000001C
    SSLError: 0x00000000
    Timeout was reached"

    I use a wired connection which ps5 speed test shows connection speed (download) is 864.2 Mbps with upload of 49.9 Mbps.

    Other games work fine online (destiny 2 and call of duty mw2) and no issues with them. I have also worked from home yesterday and today and my laptop connection if also fine.

    I have tried a fresh install of ffxiv, cleared my ps5 cache and also restored licences.

    I have restarted my router fully and still getting this issue.

    I don't know what else I can do. My ISP, virgin media, are not aware of anything that could cause this issue at their end.

    Please help.

    Same issue.

    When the launcher opens, the newsfeed or the the login box will fail to load.
    Or manage to enter credentials then I'll fail after clicking "Start" (error 2002) or I'll fail on the loading screen (10105)
    Sometimes I can log in but I usually get booted (90002)

    Same issue also started yesterday.

    Either get error 2002 or I manage to log in and get error 10105. Usually connect to Light DC.

    There's a thread on reddit with other Virgin Media customers having connectivity problems so suggests it's not you and just a network problem between Virgin Media and Square Enix. Nothing you can really do but wait I'm afraid.

    I'm not with Virgin Media. This issue does seem Europe-centric though

    I am also getting connection issues on PC with failing to check game errors and https timeouts on the launcher, also i'm with Virgin Media. There has been mentions of using a VPN as a work around but I'm currently sat waiting for the game to download as I stupidly uninstalled it thinking it would help. So I don't know if it works.

    Sadly I'm on ps5 so vpn isn't really an option. It's getting quite annoying. I had a look at the reddit thread posted above but none of those errors are the timeout one I've been getting. Hopefully some in tech sees this and raises a ticket or gives some advice...
