Along with Yoshi-P, I hope the rest of the team working on the game aren't overdoing it.

Again...by some of the posts here...some people do not understand the work ethic and passion of some cultures.
Japanese culture for instance is one of very much loyalty and resolution...I'm sorry and sad to say...but some cultures have not nearly a fraction of the work ethic of others like Japanese...if they did everyone would be in happy work environment...
But alas a few work...the many lounge...inequity exists...and nobody is happy and the lazy continue to bleep bleep while the hard working just wish they had a break.
And it's a reason why some countries move forward and amaze while others fall behind...content with the statis quo.
This thread was worth it because ofthis sig image.....![]()

that was quite possibly the broadest generalization in this entire thread.Again...by some of the posts here...some people do not understand the work ethic and passion of some cultures.

"Unbelievable wipes... indescribable failings. Whining, bitching, rage quitting - through an endless party find." - Doho, A Whole New Whorl

Maybe he's just one of those people who look vaguely sleepy 90% of the time?
I've known a few of those.
That being said, hope you and the entire team are doing well over there!

This is indeed quite the generalization there. I have a lot of respect for Japan and its culture. And it is true that they are know for their loyalty and resolution.Again...by some of the posts here...some people do not understand the work ethic and passion of some cultures.

HOWEVER, this does not equal happy working environments as you pointed out. I read many articles pointing out that their working environment is everything but rainbows and sunshine.
There's a reason that many people commit suicide there or even die from overworking. I think the japanese even have a term created for that.
I even googled it up and it's called Karoshi - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kar%C5%8Dshi
In any case I'm sidetracking from this topic. I really do hope that the above term won't happen to Yoshi and his crew as they continue working overtime to bring to rebirth a game that has failed their audience once. Yet at the same time I want them to continue like this. I guess I'm getting spoiled by these quick and large updates.
Cheers for Yoshi-P and his crew. I hope you all will be succesfull with 2.0 and get a nice deserved break from it all. Or at least more normal working schedules lol.

I guess thats why Japan has one of the world's highest suicide rates.Again...by some of the posts here...some people do not understand the work ethic and passion of some cultures.

He just needs 1 Week off and get back to his habbits then take another week off within the same year.

While Yoshida has been putting his heart and soul into this game from what we've seen, I'm leaning towards his appearance in that photo being because of jet lag and not his overall health. Nice as it is that his player base is concerned, I'm sure he's just tired having flown in from Japan probably a day or two earlier. If anyone has flown overseas, you'll know from experience that it can take several days to get back onto a regular schedule and not feel like a zombie. At least in my case, and everyone I've known that has done the same.
He should take a week off to play FF14 or something, that would get his mind off of work!
