Old event rewards returning as online store purchases?

For seasonal and or other event, is there a pattern or just if and when SE decides to make them available for purchase?

They generally become available for the next time the holiday comes around.

The exception is temporary crossovers, which, aside from the FF13 gear, never go on the cash shop. Usually the events get reruns later anyway (sometimes with updated/added rewards, notably the Yokai Watch and Garo crossovers), so there's no real choice but to wait and hope.

Which items were you looking for? They have a tendency to rerun the crossover events (if license agreements allow) so players late to the game get a chance at them.

There was also the FFXV crossover, whose Noctis outfit and the other rewards still haven't gone on the store. It made an appearance around the time I first started playing, and someone said that it was a rerun of the event.

Garo really can't be termed an "event" like the FFXV or Yokai events. It's closer to a permanent addition like Monster Hunter, albeit one that was vulnerable to the licence expiring.

I believe it wasn't even supposed to return after its run in 2019, but they brought it back during EW build up

The only chance of it possibly coming back might be a big anniversary, like XV's 10th in 2026.
