    Easiest to Hardest DPS jobs?

Hello, what do you all think is the Easiest to Hardest DPS jobs (Including non-DPS) for beginners, and for intermediate? Like when I say beginner, I mean to start off/lower levels, and when I say intermediate, I mean at level 90. Being the class experience is completely different in the beginning to max level.

Please separate by role. If you want to include Healer and Tank specs, please feel free.

    Hardest job is my job.

    Easiest job is your job.

    Edit

In case you're actually curious, every job has a low point of entry ("Easy"). Following the glowing buttons and pushing the ones with cooldowns as soon as they're up for Attacks will often net you perfectly acceptable output, though with healing and tanking you'll quickly realize that effective timing adds a slight layer of additional learning.

As you proceed to get better and start chasing better performance, every job has its own demands and challenges that will vary by encounter, level bracket, and often a set of tactics utilized in the encounter. At the end of the day, they almost all fall within the same ballpark for different reasons.

Some jobs have easier rotations, but more limitations placed upon them. Some jobs have harder rotations, but less limitations placed upon them. Some jobs require specific fight knowledge and positioning, some jobs do not. Some jobs need to monitor their resources, some jobs do not. Some jobs have timings that are specifically !@#%ed by specific boss mechanics, and some are not.

There's some on-paper arguments that can be made, that grossly ignore the variables an individual can face across multiple encounters, but the long and the short of it is the hardest job is the one you haven't played before, and the easiest one is the one you've played for years.

It's all subjective, no matter what king of logical fallacies FireMage says.

In my opinion from, from easiest to hardest at level 90:

Tanks: WAR > DRK > PLD > GNB. If not super hardcore optimizing, then: WAR > PLD > DRK > GNB

Healers: WHM > AST > SGE > SCH

DPS: If not super hardcore optimizing, then: DNC > SMN > MCH > RDM > NIN > SAM > DRG > RPR > BLM > BRD > MNK

RPR is a strange case for me. I have so little experience with the job and never really learned the buttons past 85, so I can't speak on it much.

Tanks: war = drk = gnb > pld
Healers: sge = whm = sch > ast
Caster: smn >>>>> rdm = blu > blm
Melee: rpr = sam > nin = drg => mnk
Aiming: mch > dnc > brd

Frankly as long as you press buttons as soon as you can, you'll be doing better than most people while leveling. Just pick something you like the aesthetics of.
The four healers and smn hardly change from early levels, drg, mnk and nin are pretty coherent by level 50. Samurai feels weird without hagakure, reaper feels pretty bad until the mid 80s, the others mostly come into their own some time in heavensward.

Melee: NIN > DRG > SAM. Can't rate the other two because I don't know about their gimmicks well enough to comment.
    Aiming: MCH > BRD/DNC.
Casters: SMN >>>>>>>>>>>>> RDM >>> BLM.
Tanks: WAR > DRK (juuust a tiny bit harder) > GNB > PLD
    Healers: WHM/SGE > AST/SCH

My opinion on things (Easy to hardest).
    Melee: Reaper > Samurai > Ninja > Dragoon> Monk
Tank: Warrior > Dark Knight > Gunbreaker > Paladin
Phys Ranged: Dancer > Machinist > Bard
Caster: Summoner> Red Mage >Black Mage
Healer: White Mage > Sage > Scholar > Astrologian

    Extra Notes:
With Reaper, Samurai and Ninja they're all fairly close together, I think Ninja has the highest entry level out of the three generally likely takes a bit more to learn but in general it isn't hard, With PLD on the other hand it's entry level is fairly easy but it's a "hard to fully optimise" job.

All Jobs aren't really super difficult or easy, opinions on what's "easy" and what's not can be different from each person, the only thing that should matter about a job is, is it fun? if yes then play it, if no then that's also fine! theirs a lot of different jobs out there, I believe it's fine that some jobs are harder then others not everyjob should be designed around for every type of player. Just stick to what you enjoy really.

In my opinion it would be
    Tank: Warrior> Dark Knight > Paladin >Gunbreaker
Healer: Sage> White mage > Scholar > Astrologian
    melee: Samurai > Reaper > ninja > Dragoon=monk
    p ranged: Dancer > bard > machinist
caster: summoner > red mage > black mage

I would say each job is fairly accessible for any sort of content. Most classes kinda are easy to learn but hard to master. Please keep in mind that some classes (like Machinist, Dark knight or Dragoon) feel harder to play should you have a high ping due to their busy nature. But even if a job is difficult in the eyes of other players or easy, do give them a try and see how do you like them yourself

I never use logical fallacies. Facts aren't composed of them

SMN, MCH, DNC, BRD, RPR, RDM, SAM, DRG, MNK, NIN, BLM

There's no meaningful difference to any class within the same role as another class.

Square-Enix has done one thing well, and that's ensuring that it is almost impossible to screw up the basic gameplay of every class (except PLD, which will be turned into a WAR clone in January I'm sure) so long as you read your tooltips and maybe look at their official job guide for a primer on how the basic flow of the class works.

With Endwalker, every single class (except PLD) operates on a very rigid 60 or 120 second cycle. Starting at the start of the fight and every 120 seconds thereafter, you will pretty much push ALL of your damage buttons within a 15 second window, then push a very simple filler combo (often a 1-2-3 melee combo or a specific order of spells that works out to be akin to 1-2-3) for the entirety of the 105 seconds remaining until the next window, at which it repeats.

There are minor variations on this theme, but the basic concept remains the same regardless of which class you're playing. Pick your class based on what you think looks coolest. There are no meaningful gameplay differences between any of them, by design.
