You'll never get anything unless you ask/demand something. So, since the WoL (like all blank slate (J)RPG protags) lacks self-respect, you just take what little they give you. Be happy if the writers don't make your character thank them for it.

Also, since we've been working for evil incarnate, Rowena, since ARR, complaining now seems pretty pretentious.

And every few days I loot the other automated things.

Finished up getting everything out of it last week, but I've been doing it weekly still. I just don't garden/check animals anymore.

It's probably a bad idea. I feel like they're going to add onto IS but I also feel like if they do then they're going to add a new currency for it to prevent people with tons of cowries saved up from just auto-finishing the content in a few days.

They did confirm new stuff is going to be added to IS in 6.3. New materials, new workshop items, new rare animals, etc. Meaning there will likely be brand new stuff to buy alright. I do suspect they may add a special type of scrip just for the new stuff that will rotate after a main patch or two to keep people playing. Or they may just make it so you have to keep maxing out the rank to get it, who knows?

30 minutes? Dang I spend about 2 minutes every two weeks. It's engaging content

I found most of the experience of building up the island to be enjoyable. Now I'm in "mostly automatic" mode. I follow the recommendations on the Island Sanctuary Reddit page - I only check animals/crops once/week. I rotate my granaries once per week. I haven't had to harvest anything since my second week. I'm in it now to get those achievements (cowries, crops, granaries, pasture). Whenever I get to 500k and finish those other achievements, I'll probably stop.

I'm treating cowries like MGP. Easy to build them up now and if they ever add anything, I'll have the cowries to buy whatever comes out.

It's an easy way to get the rare dyes and all it takes is 15 minutes on Fridays to set everything up. Hopefully they don't change the currency next patch.

My poor mammets probably have no idea what to do. Went to the island once and never went back. Hopefully they swam back to the mainland or something.
