Haptic Feedback: I think it's time that we can start setting up and designing how we want haptics to function for letting me know certain things. As we all know haptics is just a wavelength of a sound effect/sample and played back through as force feedback. Haptics is an incredible high level of sensory and interacting with it is an experience. (Demons Soul's Remake) The level of what you can do with this feature is nearly limitless and infinitely adjustable.
i.e.
Cap out on resources like beast gauge, oath, chakra. Just give me a very specific haptic feedback or have it come out of the controller speaker as well. With ANY hotkey...allow the ability to attach a Sound Effect so when I hit my 1 min Inner Release...I feel it...and sub-consciously I know it. Not really a good example. But it can help with hearing impaired players. Turn the audio into haptics for those that want that que or need help with the que.
Adaptive Triggers: The best example I can come up with is Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart. For the secondary firing functions for ALL the weapons was just a simple half trigger pull. With that example...could we have this enhance the crosshotbar. This way you can do a half trigger pull and a full trigger pull, and I can have 2 full hotbars on one trigger. This would GREATLY improve that amount of buttons I can have on one trigger pull...and also allow for even more movement impairing issues. (having to take your left thumb off the stick to hit the d-pad....your left motionless and in harms way if an aoe or raid wide is coming.)
Edge Controller: Unlike the PS4 back button which only EXTENDED a copy of a button to be mapped to that button. It wasn't a new button or mapping at all. Can we please...please...please differentiate a back button as something completely different.
Example: Right back button is R4. This way I can map this button to ANY hotbar+hotkey. This would simply be my hotkey for HotBar2-hotkey #4 = Arms Length. This way that button is always that skill and it's not a copy of a trigger or front face button.
Speech to Text: This is really on both Sony and SE, but have the PS5 controller mic or pulse headset able to do speech to text for the chat log window. This would probably be a ridiculous level of programing, but would greatly enhance experience for those that don't have a keyboard or hate typing in general. Just the option would be nice.
Strafe: This is personal nit pick...but I play legacy controls. Left means I go left, but not based on my camera. They are separate from one another. So strafing is NEARLY impossible in this mode. And with some P6S mechanics I sometimes find myself almost killing people simply because I can't strafe.
Allow the ability to toggle strafe with a back button or set it to a hotkey. This way I have more control.
Quick turn: Allow me to about face 180 from the direction I'm faceing....but have the option to lock the camera or unlock. This way I can quick turn in place without the camera rotating also. This would greatly improve P8S snakes....f*#(ing snakes snapshot sucks on PS5 controller. I miss mouse turn for that one reason.
