    Can we remove the death penalty for Bozja now?

    The penalty for death in Bozja needs to be removed. There is NO benefit to taking a res in the middle of a CE with the possiblitly of a 2nd death (and further death penalty) nullifying the entire benefit of attempting the CE in the first place. People would rather sit DEAD on the sidelines and wait out the finish of the event in order to not further jeopardize their mettle score. This system needs a rework to actually REWARD effort instead of discourage it.

    I would be fine with them putting a cap on the EXP loss rather than removing it altogether, or else adjust the rewards.

    Once you've levelled up into Zadnor, mettle earned from activities on the Bozjan Southern Front is quickly outweighed by the penalty for deaths – but the game is structured to expect that you will spend time back in Bozja for various activities. This means you are earning levels of mettle intended for levels 5-10 at best, while still being penalised as a level 25.

    From what I remember, you make the mettle back from just one Skirmish. If not, then you will definitely make it back in Zadnor.

    Wait, are you talking about Mettle or Job XP?

    I make so much mettle in Zadnor that I'll flat out just click respawn sometimes because it's meaningless.

    Nope, it's the peak of gaming that people like mr happy applaud. Just like eureka with afking between NMs. Just feel lucky you don't have a permanent heavy effect during it.

    I know other people liked the challenge and all that, but while it made sense for Eureka to try and emulate the god-awful old-style system in FF11 and such old MMOs, it's really clashing in Bozja. There's zero point to it, and like DiaDeem pointed out, you just make so much eventually it hardly matters. It's just frustrating altogether, really. Especially if you plan on ranking up or getting the valors. Unlike Eureka, there's zero practical purpose to rank than "story progression". And you don't derank either anymore, so why is this even a thing? Who designed this stupidity?

    And knowing that people like Mr Happy applaud it is irritating. Not because he likes it, that's his opinion and enjoyment. But he alone isn't the playerbase.

    There being time between NMs or consequences for dying aren't that much of a problem. They are only a problem for people who only play 2 hours a day.
