I have posed a question regarding the buff cap in hopes that it'll get some attention in the upcoming Q&A event.
Please like it if you agree with them increasing the buff cap!

With the newest ultimate out, this question actually becomes really really interesting. Considering that comps hitting the buff cap in TOP was supposedly "intentional" (according to the devs) requiring groups to either change comps or change burst timing strategies, increasing the buff cap to 40 would remove this intentional mechanic completely. While one fight shouldn't dictate a change that may be necessary, I do believe it will hold some weight in the argument for the dev team.I have posed a question regarding the buff cap in hopes that it'll get some attention in the upcoming Q&A event.

It was kinda of a given thing seeing how easy it is to hit the buff cap in that fight, so believing that the internal testers never caught it is kinda bonkers to believe but whatever. It felt like an intentional design due to the nature of Omega, now regarding whether people like this mechanic or not is another thing. With the newest ultimate out, this question actually becomes really really interesting. Considering there was an auto attack at the start of P3 that was so quick it killed WF groups over and over and wasn't intentional...Yes, it is very understandable to think they might've not caught it XD. However, someone did report it as a bug and the devs came back as it being intentional. It was kinda of a given thing seeing how easy it is to hit the buff cap in that fight, so believing that the internal testers never caught it is kinda bonkers to believe but whatever. It is in "working as intended"
Yes, the fact that there's a cap of 30 is working as intended but it doesn't mean that the game itself should be like this due to the issues it creates.
They already increased the cap in the past and they should do it again as the list of procs and buffs we get keeps going higher and higher.
I mean I agree with you in the event of increasing it. I think its bad game design to use an arbitrary limit like that in a mechanic. However, they did specifically use it in the fight's design for Phase 3 which just makes the conversation more interestingYes, the fact that there's a cap of 30 is working as intended but it doesn't mean that the game itself should be like this due to the issues it creates.

I'm not sure they really tested that specific thing thoroughly considering the autoattack bug you mentioned earlier that I believe also happened in another phase but I might be wrong. Hopefully they'll notice this anyway...
