    Considering the XBox is all but dead in Japan, they might not have that much incentive to bother.

    Seems the two weird Microsoft regulations for MMOs are still a thing.

    Last thing mentioned by Devs was just before Ew release, they more or less had the green light but xbox development was completely haulted with post covid delays and devs focusing Ew release. So likely not happening anytime soon if at all anymore... they got FFXVI to push out and the next FFXIV expansion...

    Just a +1 to Xbox not really being a thing in Japan. I can't remember the last time I even saw one on a shelf in an electronics store. Switch and PS4/5 have entire aisles...

    Yeah not only that but consoles in Japan are dying off pretty quick, even pc to a lesser degree, mobile reigns supreme in the east...

    It's more likely they make a Switch version than an Xbox version since it's a much more popular system

    People already complain about PS4 support holding the game back, can you imagine the blowback from a Switch port?
