    Sub Autocancelled after Nine Years

    I've been subscribed since September 2013 which was when the game launched on PS3. According to Mog Station I've been subbed for 3270 days. My sub was supposed to renew yesterday, except the payment didn't go through for some unexplained reason. Upon trying to renew my sub, I got the error code 406.

    I know it's not lack of funds because I just checked. I also just bought a 60 day card with the debit card I was trying to register. There's also no documentation about error code 406 or what to do with it anywhere on the Mog Station.

    So yes, I bought 60 days but I'm highly frustrated right now.
    Please, Square. I've been throwing money your way every month for a little over nine years now. I'll continue to play this game because of many reasons I can't even begin to list. The only thing I ask in return for my money and loyalty is that the system works at its most basic level, and it all starts with me being able to subscribe at all. Please show me that my confidence is not misplaced and that this issue will be dealt with.

    I will retry to sub again at the end of January, and I'll make a new thread by then if I encounter the same issue.

    There is a fair amount of posts on the OF (here) and Reddit regarding the issue as well. Most seem to be dead ends however :/
    Some posts indicate the issue resolves itself after a day or so, or that it was a browser or browser extension or cookie issue. Also I don't believe SE supports debit for recurring, unless it is a Visa debit. However I'm assuming the card you refer to is the same one you've always used.
