Also wondering why you picked my response of all people when two others above me said something similar.

To be fair you were the only one who said cities (and island) need it more. The others just pointed out cities don’t have it.

1) Cities have the aetheryte network.
2) Islands not only have mounts but super amped up ones, eventually you can fly.
3) Dungeons are instanced so it shouldn’t affect anyone else server draw wise. Meanwhile hundreds of players in Limsa sprinting around constantly would.

What's the actual rush? You don't even have a boat to catch / miss.

If I remember correctly early on in the Pugilist questline the trainer tells you to Sprint only in bursts for your skills are worthless if you sprint everywhere and wear yourself before the fight starts. So they kinda in game lore wise tell you why you sprint in 10/20 seconds bursts and then have a CD.
