So, can we make noise about Miqote ears and hats?

Hello forum gang! I hope I'm not the only one who's noticed throughout the recent patches from Shadowbringers and onwards the racial specific elements from headgear have disappeared. Without forgetting our hatless friends in Viera and Hrothgar population, the Miqote ears just mystically vanish in new hats and frankly saying "they're tucked in" sounds like a lazy excuse and would be really uncomfortable to begin with!

With the game being more successful and profitable than ever - money shouldn't be an issue either, so what gives? Miqote being the most popular race amongst the playerbase, you'd think it would warrant that little bit of extra effort, when creating textures for headgear.

Would it be possible for us to see a patch that changes this in the future, since they've been going back and improving some of the older content already? Getting rid of the racial elements that make the races special in the first place, shouldn't be the way to go.
I do hope you folks at Square Enix and Creative Business Unit 3 would address this concern, since it affects a huge chunk of your playerbase

One of my biggest graphical issues and something I've complained about frequently. There's no excuse for them to ignore miqo'te ears, just like there's no excuse for them to not allow hrothgar and viera to wear newly released headgear.

Hire someone to do the extra work. It's sad that _____ are able to do what SE refuses to.

Ear holes were sacrificed by the small indie company back in HW because making gear is hard. Please understand.

There's even less excuse than the Viera and Hrothgar situation. At least in that case, it's something they (rightly or wrongly) didn't factor into the character designs, and consistently have specific types of headgear that do work and types that do not.

Miqo'te don't have the same holdup. They DID get hats with visible ears previously. Those hats still work, therefore new hats must have the potential to have ears as well, but they don't.

Better that than the terrible ear pouches sticking out of hats.

Ear pouches are fine in theory, but often look bad because the devs don't seem to ever check whether the pouches have any resemblance to the ears they are allegedly covering.

From what I've seen on my characters, Miqo'te ear pouches are often half the size they should be, while Elezen get huge flaps that might be based on max ear length shape or might be just as made-up-out-of-nowhere as the Miqo'te ones.

What is there to say though? I mean obviously getting angry and aggressive with the developers is not going to make them want to solve the issue(assuming they ever view anything like that at all), but are they really wrong?

I mean something's clearly wrong when modders make solutions to these issues while SE neglects them.
