    Frequent 90006 errors

Since yesterday, I've been disconnecting frequently from the game with a 90006 error. I've tried restarting my router and modem, as well as opening up my ports, but nothing seems to have helped. I just so happened to be running a traceroute as it was happening, and these are the results.

Tracing route to 204.2.229.116 over a maximum of 30 hops

This has become a massive issue with raids. Please help.

Edit: Wanted to mention I'm on the Steam version of the game.

    Greetings Hikari_Yukihara,

If you have yet to try this, I would recommend adjusting your Internet Options settings (in the Control Panel), and setting them accordingly:

    - Under the "General" tab, please delete ALL browser history.
    - Under the "Security" tab, please move the slider to the lowest possible settings or no higher than "Medium"
    - Under the "Privacy" tab, click “Advanced” and select ‘Accept’ under both First Party and Third Party Cookies.
    - Under the "Advanced" tab, please make sure that "Allow software to run or install even if signature is invalid" is CHECKED.
    - Make sure that all SSL and TLS (EXCEPT SSL 3.0) are CHECKED. [SSL 3.0 should be UNCHECKED]
    - Hit "Apply" to save the settings, and then "OK, to close the Internet Options menu.
    - Right-Click on the FFXIV launcher icon and select "Properties"
    - Hit "Apply", then "OK" to save the changes.
    - Please RESTART your PC now. Once your PC has been restarted, Right-Click the FFXIV launcher icon once more and select "Run as Administrator"

Additionally, please make sure your Fire Wall and/or antivirus program is not interfering with the game. You may temporarily turn them off to see if this helps with the issue and turn them back on later.

I hope this helps! Thank you for visiting the FINAL FANTASY XIV Technical Support Forums.
