Why can't we use emotes during trading?

Is there some reason why we can't use emotes while having the trade window open?
If not can we please be able to emote during trades?
I want to emote while giving people popoto plz

That would be cool to have, I'd like to have a handshake emote so I could shake hands when we both hit accept during the trade, like signifying the deal is done.
