Who doesn't? Yeah I'm sure I share tastes with a lot of people cause my net is wide but I'm also REALLY basic with my tastes. Like if it's not on the Top 40 between the years of 1970-2010...I've probably not heard it.

I have abunch of spotify playlists that range from ambience, atmospheric music, classical instrumental, pieces of other game & movie Soundtracks, & thrash metal
....Lots & lots of Slayer, Lamb of God, Otep, Spiritbox, HEALTH & Jinjer. Not all of those are Thrash, but amazing nonetheless

I have a dedicated playlist centered around music that creates a dark, dread/galactic & cosmic horror atmosphere!
It has alot less Lustmord than you'd think, I tried to branch out from that with lesser known artists

That's interesting. I'm the exact opposite. Peaceful stuff while gathering and heavier stuff while in content with friends.

Not sure if it's just me but I think music has become a bigger deal in gaming than it used to be. I approve of this.

I've only listened to other music one time while playing and that was the Cyberpunk 2077 soundtrack. What I do more often though is I'll run youtube in the background and listen to that. Sometimes it's old AVGN episodes or podcasts/videos about paranormal stuff.

Common's "Go" is my go to Final Fantasy MMO song, due to the hook.

People on Bismarck used to put that in their LFG comments, it was hilarious.......

Common, Mariah, and Ja Rule got me through those lonely Beastmaster grinds in the early 2000s. You needed some lighthearted music due to the places BST had to visit for levels.....Alone.....
