Contrarian Dodo, hehehe, been on the forums too long, but the MSQ dungeons can stay as is. I remember being new, getting to this point, and being absolutely disappointed with the ending because I missed everything that was happening. I kind of resented the game because of that. It's actually intentional by the devs. Group over solo, if one person doesn't fit with the group. Remove the one and try for another like minded one. Your example proves it too.

Your attitude is why they are unskippable. Kicking new players because they want to see cutscenes is griefing, and to put it bluntly, utterly selfish, entitled , just plain rude.

If and when you get reported, try that schtick with a GM in Mordion...who will NOT be kind to you.

I feel like you're not helping with this situation, basically I just want those instance with circle barrier should've available to skip cutscene so they can just run around while waiting inside, not kicking new players...

Group over solo, if you want otherwise theres trust and party finder. Healer doesn't want to dps, vote kick, tanks is slow and says you pull you tank, vote kick. Wanna watch an hour movie in between a 10 minute dungeon, vote kick.

This attitude is why the cutscenes became unskippable to begin with. And it's an attitude like yours that will guarantee that they're never going to make it skippable again.

It's pretty sad when the 8 man variant existed, the answer to the problem was just "lol, just watch the CS in the inn!". I'm not 100% happy with the solution but considering what the problem was, I can easily see why the devs did what they did.

I did ultima weapon this morning. 2 people in the group were in the same FC.

They relogged during the curscene because they didn't realise a barrier was there. They wanted to kill the second half of ultima before the curscene had finished.

They said they used to do this with all the bosses in msq.

I said it was unfair on the newbies. They said 'the Inn exists'

They couldn't get it into their thick little skills that this story needs to be seen on the context of the dungeon. The three dungeons flow into a major ending cut scene. There is no time to go back to the Inn. If you miss one cut scene, you have to skip them all or the story makes no sense.

You also cannot replay chunks of story in the Inn from this part.

So, if you don't see everything when it should be seen, you miss out on the ending of ARR.

For that reason alone, I'm so glad there is a barrier.

Don't want to watch cutscene? Don't do MSQ roulette.

My first time running Praetorium was before the changes.
My first time running Praetorium was effectively me stuck in multiple cutscenes in a row because half the party decided to speedrun it with the log-out skip, and telling me "KYS" when I asked them to please stop.
