Physical/regional servers FINALLY confirmed ??! (Y)

I have some pretty noticeable lag as an EST player. I know I don't have it nearly as bad as the EU do, but it's still noticeable. Back when CC came out, one of our EU tanks could not tank Chimera because he was unable to move in time (despite moving exactly when the abilities went off). This issue would be fixed by regional servers.

HOWEVER, with this particular game... I am not a fan of regional servers. As much as I would love to never experience the sort of instance-ruining lag that I currently experience, I enjoy playing with people from around the world. That's part of what makes this game a 'Final Fantasy' to me. My linkshell currently has members from all regions of the world. Some of them left when Ragnarok was suggested as the "EU" server, but many of them stayed. If all servers were listed as 'regional', we might never get to see the international gameplay we currently have... or at least we would see a lot less of it. How many people do you think are on Ragnarok that are NOT EU?

Also... if they fix 'animation lock', I would never ever complain about lag again.
